Draftsmith: The Workday Doesn’t Hide Behind a Desk

Draftsmith line up of shoes

Today, on October 22nd, Red Wing launches its newest product family – the Draftsmith. The Draftsmith is crafted with classic Red Wing quality details and eco-friendly materials to optimize comfort and durability in a lightweight package – letting workers seamlessly navigate the office to floor requirements of their job, changing gears without changing boots.

“The trades represent multiple industry sectors, each with a variety of job site needs, and the Draftsmith furthers our commitment to all trades, and specifically those jobs in which individuals travel from an office to a warehouse or production floor,” said Mike VanGoethem, chief services officer for Red Wing.

Designed to ensure adaptability for multiple environments, it also boasts a recycled lining material made from post-consumer plastic, contributing to sustainability efforts, along with a full-grain leather upper for unmatched durability and a high-cushion, slip-resistant outsole for enhanced comfort and stability. This new product family consists of 4 styles, including oxford, chukka, and chelsea heights.
