Red Wing Shoe Co. CEO Allison Gettings Laces Up

Allison Gettings is embracing a rich family legacy as the fourth-generation leader, and first female CEO of Red Wing Shoe Co. Her journey involved an extensive multi-year plan, which included earning a Carlson Executive MBA to expand her horizons and skill set. But schooling and a myriad of jobs across the company weren’t the only keys to her success. 

“What matters more is how I relate to people.” Gettings said, emphasizing the value of employees, partners, and consumers. As she navigates the challenges of running a global business in a rapidly changing world, she's focused on preserving the company's heritage while adapting for the future.
